この５月に、３０年間住み慣れたカリフォルニア州を後にして、ネバダ州ヘンダーソン市に引っ越しました。もう一か月がたちましたが、慣れない道を運転したり、新しいドクターやお店を探したりで、いまだに手探りのような日々が続いています。
でも、見方を変えれば、新しいことを始められるのは大きな喜びです。
ここでは広い空や、幅の広い道路、また、人々がフレンドリーであるなど、たくさんの良いところがあります。ラスベガスは虚飾の街でもありますが、と同時に、子供たちが育ち、人々が活き活きと働く、エネルギーにあふれたベッドタウンでもあります。
この地に、SOROBAN の種を蒔いていきたいと思っています。
子供たちが学ぶ喜びを知り、また、おとなの方たちの生涯学習としても、ソロバンをお考えいただけたらと思っています。
SOROBAN in Las Vegas!
We have moved to Henderson, NV, in May, 2022. It's has been just one month so I am still struggling to get adjusted to the new environment, such as finding new doctors and favorite stores! However, it's kind of nice to start something new. It's like an adventure!!
Here, we have bigger sky, wider streets to drive, and people are more friendly, I feel. Yes, the city of Las Vegas is not only famous with its vanity images, but also a steady bed town where family raise children and people work hard as everywhere else.
I wish to introduce and plant SOROBAN study in Las Vegas and its neighborhoods. SOROBAN study promotes children expanding their potential. It also gives adult learners great benefits as lifetime study.
